Our Dentists

Dr. Jeremy Blacquier, DDS

General Dentist

Dr. Jeremy Blacquier was born in Toronto, ON. His family relocated to Fredericton when he was 6 years old. He graduated from Fredericton High School in 1996. He went on to UNB where he graduated with an honours degree in Biochemistry in 2000. Dr. Blacquier completed dental school at the University of Western Ontario in 2004.

After practicing for 5 years in Ontario, Dr. Blacquier joined the team at Brookside Dental in 2009. He enjoys practicing all aspects of general dentistry, especially wisdom tooth extrations. He finds it extremely rewarding to help someone out of pain, or to increase their self-confidence by improving their smile.

In his free time, Dr. Blacquier enjoys spending time with his wife and four children. He enjoys golfing, skiing, running or any activities that get him outdoors.
Dr. Natasha Cormier, DDS

General Dentist

Dr. Natasha Cormier was born and raised in Fredericton, NB. She graduated from Dalhousie Dental School in 2012, after receiving her Bachelor of Science from the University of New Brunswick in 2008.

Dr. Cormier enjoys learning. She is continually updating her knowledge and skills through continuing education in order to enhance the level of care she provides her patients. Most recently, Dr. Cormier has been certified to offer both neuromodulators and dermal fillers for both therapeutic and cosmetic treatments.

Dr. Cormier enjoys practicing all aspects of dentistry. She prides herself on building lasting relationships with her patients and making their dental experiences as enjoyable as possible. In addition to providing in-office sedation, Dr. Cormier holds hospital privileges and routinely takes patients to the hospital to address more complex dental needs.

Outside of dentistry, Natasha is a fitness enthusiast. She enjoys spending her free time with husband Shawn, daughter Madison, son Elliott and French bulldog Sid.
Dr. Ruslan Rusanov, DMD

General Dentist

Dr. Ruslan Rusanov was born and raised in a small town in South-East Ukraine where his large family lived on a farm. In 2009 he graduated from Dnipropetrovsk State Medical Academy in Ukraine and proceeded to obtain training in Oral Surgery and Dental Implantology in 2012. He worked in private and government dental clinics for a couple of years but wasn't able to live and safely treat patients due to civil unrest in Ukraine.

Dr. Rusanov fled to New York in the United States in 2015. He started learning English, worked as a dental assistant and prepped for dental school admission again. In 2020, he graduated from Rutgers School of Dental Medicine in New Jersey where he earned a Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry degree. After working a few years in the USA as a general dentist, Dr. Rusanov relocated to Fredericton, NB and started working at Brookside Dental Clinic in 2022.

Ruslan enjoys spending his free time with his wife Olga and young daughters Mila and Stephania. They love exploring beautiful places, learning new culture and trying authentic food. They like hiking, biking, swimming, tennis and playing with their dog Ledy and cat Sima.
Dr. Monica Morales, DDS

General Dentist

Dr. Monica Morales was born and raised in Guatemala City. She graduated first in her class in dental school from Universidad Francisco Marroquin in 2013 with an honours degree after receiving her Bachelor of Science from the same university.

After graduation, Dr. Morales worked in Guatemala City for a year before moving to Connecticut, USA to do a two year residency in Advanced Education in General Dentistry. It was at the University of Connecticut where she met her classmate and now husband, a Canadian from Ontario. They both moved to Canada in 2016. Dr. Morales successfully completed the equivalency process to obtain her Canadian dental licence in 2018.

Having lived on the east coast of the US, Dr. Morales and her husband decided to move to the Canadian east coast in 2021. In her free time Dr. Morales enjoys spending time with her husband Scott, her son Noah and their dog Oso (means bear in Spanish). She also enjoys the outdoors, watching soccer, crafting and reading.
Dr. Jenna McNutt, DDS

General Dentist

Dr. Jenna McNutt was born and raised in Cole Harbour, NS. She graduated from dental school at Dalhousie University in 2024, after receiving her Bachelor of Science with Honours in Chemistry from Acadia University in 2019.

During her time in dental school, Dr. McNutt received multiple awards for academic achievement, leadership, and community involvement, and she graduated with Distinction. She was selected for an elective in dental public health, providing dental care to underprivileged populations, and she was president of the school’s chapter of the Canadian Society for Disability & Oral Health. Dr. McNutt is a passionate and dedicated new graduate dentist, bringing fresh knowledge and enthusiasm to the team. She is thrilled to be beginning her career at Brookside Dental.

Dr. McNutt enjoys hiking, kayaking, traveling, reading, and spending time with friends and family. She is very excited about the move to Fredericton with her partner, Nick, particularly for the outdoor activities and the Farmer’s market samosas.
